Faith & Peter celebrated their love in a dazzling way at The Drexelbrook in July 2023. They exchanged their vows at the beautiful St. Dot’s in Drexel Hill, and then joined their guests at The Drexelbrook for a fabulous cocktail hour & reception! They were surrounded by stunning flower arrangements & decor, mouth-watering food and upbeat music that kept everyone dancing.

The couple told us a little bit about their love story and some highlights of their special day at The Drexelbrook!

“We met at college through mutual friends. We just couldn’t stop laughing together and hanging out more and more. As the years went on that same feeling and wanting to be together lead us to an apartment, a house, and even getting a dog. Seems like we went a bit out of order with marriage coming last, but we couldn’t be happier with how it all played out.

Drexelbrook was the ideal wedding venue to make all our dreams come true! We did not realize really how many small details go into planning a wedding. Thankfully, the incredible team at Drexelbrook made it so easy for us. Whether it was guiding us in the right direction or checking things off the “to-do” list for us, they had us covered. It was such a relief knowing that they were there to support us. We did not have to worry once about the venue, food, or beverages. We were able to just show up and have fun!

Drexelbrook was perfect for our large family to celebrate together. We were married at St. Dorothy’s in Drexel Hill, and ourselves and guests were immediately greeted by the Drexelbrook staff on our arrival to cocktail hour. We are still receiving compliments about the food months later! We were blown away by the service, friendliness, and professionalism of the Drexelbrook team.

After our cocktail hour, we had our reception in the Grand ballroom. This gave us plenty of room for our guests, band, and a big dance floor.

Drexelbrook treated us and our guests like we were family. They erased any worries and enabled us to truly enjoy and embrace our wedding day. We could not be happier with our wedding at Drexelbrook!”

Faith & Peter got ready for their wedding day at our onsite Holiday Inn & Suites Hotel and ended the night with an afterparty at Streetlight Kitchen and Bar.

Featured Menu Items:

Cocktail stations including angus beef sliders w/ pepper jack cheese.
Burrata Bar featuring creamy burrata, grilled flatbread, roasted red & yellow tomatoes, caramelized peaches, arugula, baby portabella & balsamic glaze.

Passed Hors D’ Oeuvres including cucumber rounds with red pepper hummus, cheesesteak spring rolls, buffalo chicken bites & spicy panko crusted shrimp.

Entree selection of slow braised short rib with natural jus & red wine glaze or Tuscan chicken pan-roasted with sun dried tomato & fontina cheese sauce.

Dessert stations including the Drexelbrook’s signature sundae bar, affogato, ice cream floats, bananas foster flambe and Belgian style waffles.
